Countdown – 96 days

Yesterday I didn’t go to work. I took leave – and I spent the day out celebrating with my girlfriend PX (it was her birthday!)

Happy Birthday Dear.

Although we didn’t really go crazy and fly off to a beach resort, it was still fun. I love spending time out with PX, and particularly on days like yesterday, where we went out and just enjoyed time with each other, not worrying about business or work.

But today was coming, darn – and today I’m back in the office 9 – 6:30pm, doing the things I don’t want to do… WORK!

Argh.

I really gotta put the TICKER on now. I said I wanted to get out of this routine lifestyle by my birthday this year. Then, it was 103 days. Now its down to 96 days.

I’ll do something myself – it doesn’t have to be passive income, as long as its something that sustains me (more than my current pay!) and gives me freedom to stay at home.

I think keeping the number of days left really keeps me focused.
