T-24 Day: I’ll Stop the Countdown

Its been confirmed. I’ll be working on a part time basis to support my current “department” from 1st January next year. Its a good option – giving me more time for my own work, and at the same time, spend some of my mornings in the office so that I can get a part time income.

I don’t intend to do this for long. But we’ll take it as it goes.

So with this, I’ll stop my counting down. I didn’t reach my goals of making $4000 a month – but I’m still on my marathon to my financial freedom.

Last week, I met up with my mentor to discuss business and how I should position myself. From the discussions, I realize I have been really underselling myself. Heh. Over the past few days, I’ve been busy writing out my business operations manual – rate card, operational processes, document templates, procedures, compiling resources.

I’ve also been meeting people.

In fact, I’ve already started to work a content writer to do what I was originally supposed to do. Outsourcing and work hoarding is my weakness. Perfection is my strength. I need to understand that earning $10 on a piece of work I don’t do is better than $100 which I have to stay awake until 3am for.

If that’s one thing I’ll change about doing business, its this. I’m certain results will change. The move from working in the business to working on the business – that’s critical.

Oh, and I turned down the $3000 training project. I’m unable to make it for the proposed timings. Anyway, as much as I know I am so better skilled technically, I don’t like to train Internet Marketing. Training is heart work. If there is no heart, it won’t work. But I’ve made arrangements and I’m going back to training occasionally next year. This is training that I believe can and will impact businesses.

I don’t have the money, the economy is not exactly brilliant, and I do not possess the best skills in anything (looking at the global market). I’m starting out from scratch. But I have a heartfelt burning committed desire, the positive mindset and the ability to take rapid massive action.
