Megaliving – Book 5 of 50
Posted on 3rd April 2009, 6:35pmMegaliving! by Robin Sharma is good book for personal development fans. The book is not long, just over a hundred pages, and many things are really to the point.
At the end of the book, there is a 30 day program for you to follow – which I think would be very useful for someone when they do follow it.
Maybe I should. Heh.
Anyway, here is my summary:
- What do you want people to say at your testimonial dinner?
- Every body is entitled to a perfect life!
- Make a dream list of whatever you want to have in this lifetime.
- Do the same things, yield the same results.
- We are happiest when we are growing and feeling that we are contributing in some way.
- Commit to self mastery – Kaizen
- The essence of a genius is knowing when to overlook.
- Spend time for personal development, physical fitness, and relaxation everyday.
- Your level of success is determined by what you think every second and minute of every day.
- Appreciate the power of focus!
- Set goals and take action.
- At the heart of discipline is habit.
- Fatigue is an illusion.
- What you think, you will become.
- Set clearly defined goals, and develop a strategy, and let it dominate your thoughts.
- What is your mission statement in life?
- What is your burninge desire?
- Exercise everyday.
- Try yoga.
- Eat live foods, high is water content.
- Learn to breathe properly.
- Chew your food well.
- Master your thoughts.
- Your thoughts determine your character.
- Be proactive.

I wouldn’t say that this is an excellent read, but it does do a good job for me – in reminding me to take time off and get some balance back in to my life.
… and I should go try yoga.
I’m off schedule for my reading, but I will chase up. I should have read 13, but I am only at 5. Man!
